Archer had a great weekend, going 4-0 with 4 pins this week. Archer pinned his Lincoln East opponent on Thursday and then went 3-0 with 3 pins on Friday at the Gator Invite, in very dominant fashion.

Andrew walked away from Gothenburg on Thursday with a gold medal, going 2-0 with 2 pins. Andrew then went to Franklin and had a 5th place finish.

Jack was our highest place finisher of the meet finishing the day with a second place finish. Jack went 2-1 on the day, losing in the finals to the #1 wrestler in Class D.

Landon went 3-0 on Tuesday at the Axtell Invite, beating a previous Class D state qualifier in the finals match. Landon is off to a great start this season, carrying an 11-1 record into break.

Jackson went 4-2 at the Council Bluffs Classic, bringing home a silver bracket win on Saturday. Jackson went 1-2 on Friday, losing by decision.

Israel went 3-0 with 2 pins at the LNE JV Invite.

Tate won the Kearney High Invite going 5-0 with 4 pins on the week

Dylan won the Kearney JV Invite going 3-0 with 3 pins

Payton won the Kearney JV Invite going 3-0 with 2 pins

Caden wrestled from the 6th seed at heavyweight to finish in 3rd place at the A4 district. Johnson pinned three opponents to earn his way to the state tournament.

Kayden picked up a decision victory at the Lincoln East dual on Thursday, and carried his momentum in recent weeks into a great showing at the Franklin Invite, going 2-1 with a second place finish.

Chris was our highest place finisher on our Kearney Blue team. Chris finished in 4th place, losing to the same wrestler twice. Chris went 3-2 on the day, collecting two falls in the process.

Nick went 7-0 at the Flatwater Fracas this weekend, adding six pins in the meantime. Nick found bonus points in some close duals throughout the weekend that were huge for our team. Nick is currently tied for second on the team with 10 pins going into break.

Trinity went 2-0 on Friday in Ravenna, winning by fall in both bouts. Trinity is one of the hardest workers in the practice room and it paid off in a big way on Friday.

Cisco finished as the runner-up at 132 pounds in the Class A4 district. Rivas defeated an opponent who had previously beaten him in the semifinals to earn his trip to the State Tournament
